Ice cream’s origins are known to reach back as far as the second century B.C., even if no specific date of origin or inventor has been indisputably credited with its discovery.

Food historians tell us the history of ice cream begins with ancient flavored ices.

In the 4th century B.C., the Roman emperor Nero had servants go into the mountains to collect snow that was used to make a frozen dessert flavoured with honey, nuts, and fruit toppings

Today good Ice cream is found everywhere in the world. Even in Nairobi!!

At la Cascina we make our own ice cream with high quality ingredients.

Flavours available: Vanilla, Chocolate, Tiramisu’, Zuppa inglese, Strawberry, Lemon, Smurfs, Hazelnut, Pistachio, Yogurt and cherry, Biscotto and Chocomint.

You can try them with cone or coppetta, or you can indulge in one of our ice cream composition.

….And if you feel wild…try our bombolone filled with Ice cream and topped with whipped cream!!!
